Digging In: Learning to Study the Bible
Put 25 students in a room for a weekend with boxes of colored markers, an
experienced leader, and God's inspired Word, and life-changing things can
happen. We call it a "Dig-In." You might call it one of the most valuable
weekends of your life because you will learn the skill of carefully studying
the Bible for yourself and hear a word from God. You have six Bible
selections from which to choose.
2 Timothy
The theme of 2 Timothy will be "Guard the Gospel." In Paul's final letter
he urges Timothy to see that the integrity of the gospel be preserved and
multiplied among believers. He also lays out a vision for a life well-lived,
a race fully run, and a crown of victory won. This gives Timothy some
specific instructions things to reflect on as he pursues that same crown.
